Dollightful is a popular Doll customiser and youtube creator who captures the hearts of their audience through engaging video content. They contacted me for a rebrand that will better reflect their content, and support any offline endevours. With my help the Dollightful brand has successfully moved beyond the screen, creating a range of merchandise that captures the playful spirit of their videos.
Her previous logo appeared at the start of each video, with seasonal versions being used on special videos such as Halloween! I wanted to ensure the new logo would fit this unique use case. The distinct bubble-writing and arched form create a recognisable base for the decorative elements associated with her brand to adorn. The new logo captures the fun and explosive creativity of her content, yet provides consistency for her evolving brand.
From talking and researching with the client, it came to my attention that the channel uses a range of catchphrases. These phrases resonate with the fans, so would be the perfect candidate for T-shirts. For each catchphrase, I wanted to focus on the relationship the phrase has with the fans, and its use case in the Dollightful videos. I decided to showcase these memorable moments through the combination of illustration and custom lettering, resulting in t-shirts that tell Dollightful's unique story.
